Volkswagen will launch a new I.D. concept car on the Shanghai Auto Show. The concept is styled as a crossover four-door sedan, somewhat similar to the Volvo S60 Cross Country. It will be pure electric with four-wheel drive and a fully autonomous mode.

Solar panels on the roof. The round thing on the corner is likely a radar. Interior with four individual seats. The crossover is the third concept of the I.D. series after the I.D. hatchback and I.D. Buzz minivan, previewing Volkswagen’s future EV lineup. In 2025 the company wants to have 30 EVs in production, and most of these will be made in China as well.
