Facelift time for the Hyundai Sonata in China. The popular mid size sedan gets new lights, new bumpers, and a new and bigger grille. The facelifted Sonata will hit the Chinese car market in July.
The facelift debuted on last month’s Shanghai Auto Show, with different fog lights.
The current Sonata debuted in March 2015. Price starts at 174.800 yuan and ends at 249.800 yuan. Engines: 208hp 2.0 hybrid, 189hp 2.4, 180hp 1.6 turbo, and a 160hp 2.0. The 2.4 will not return in the facelifted Sonata, the other engines will continue.
The Hyundai Sonata is manufactured in China by the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture.
New rear end with the Sonata name in capitals on the new boot lid. Lights and bumper are new too.
