The very first spy shot of the upcoming Fiat C-Medium testing in China. The C-Medium will be made by the new Guangzhou-Fiat joint venture and is basically a rebadged Dodge Dart. Both cars share the same Fiat C-EVO platform that also underpins the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
Dodge Dart.
The Fiat C-Medium will be listed on the Chinese car market in July, debut is expected at the Beijing Auto Show in April. Power will come from Fiat’s 1.4 Fire T-jet turbocharged engine with two different tunes: 88kw and 210nm and 110kw and 230nm, mated to a 6-speed ‘DDCT-C635′ dual clutch transmission. The engine will be made in China as well.

The Dodge Dart is on a version of the Alfa platform. Its been stretched and widened, and is on what is now called the C-USW platform. Not the same as the Giulietta’s C-EVO platform. And as the Dart (and its Fiat twin) are on different platforms and are different from a styling point as well (inside and out) it can not be said that the Dart is a Giulietta sedan.
