Here we have the new BYD F3 Sui Rui arriving at the exhibition hall of the Beijing Auto Show. The new F3 will officially debut on Monday but fortunately we already got some pictures today. The new car loox much better than its Toyota Corolla-inspired predecessor, BYD’s design seems finally, and thankfully, to improve.
The F3 Su Rui, meaning ‘quick (and) sharp’, stands on a new platform and comes with a new 1.5 turbo ‘TID’ engine mated to a 6-speed DCT. It will be listed on the China car market very soon after the Beijing show, BYD will likely announce pricing on Monday, price is expected to start around 100.000 yuan.
Less ugly than before.
Correct me if I am wrong, but this one looks like a clone of the current Corolla, whereas the last F3 was a clone of the previous generation Corolla. Hardly ground-breaking stuff.
Looks good, sleek.
How is the performance?
