Another day, another lowrider, this is going to be a new trend in China! Here we have a very low Buick Excelle XT, seen on a local tuning show in Beijing. The automachine sits very low to the road, is painted in tasteful piano-black and stands on very fat tires with shiny 5-spoke alloys. Note green Buick Regal on the left, that’s an old friend

Buick Excelle XT is a Lowrider in China

The Buick Excelle XT is made in China by the Shanghai-GM joint venture. Basically a rebadged Opel Astra hatchback, called ‘XT’ to differ from the old Buick Excelle that is still in production as well. Price for the XT starts at 129.900 yuan and ends at 181.500 yuan. Two patrol engines: 1.6 and 1.6 turbo.

And yet Another friend, the lowriding green Ford Mondeo behind the Excelle. Other lowriders we met: Toyota Reiz, Volkswagen Jetta, Audi A4L and a Volkswagen Golf Variant.
