The very first spy shots of the new Peugeot 308 hatchback testing in China. The new Peugeot 308 will debut internationally in the Autumn of this year, China-debut is expected for the April 2014 Beijing Auto Show, it will be made in China by the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture.
The current 308 sedan is made in China by Dongfeng-PSA. The current 308 hatchback is not available in China, but production of the old 307 hatchback still continues. The new Peugeot 308 will be available as sedan and hatchback, but whether that means the 307 will be killed is yet unsure. Citroen might decide to keep it as a budget model.
he new Peugeot 308 will be available internationally with the following gasoline engines: 1.6, 1.2 turbo, 1.8 and 1.6 turbo. China will likely get the 1.6 and 1.6 turbo.
