The new Toyota Vios has been launched on the China car market. Price starts at 69.800 yuan and ends at 112.800 yuan. The new Toyota Vios debuted on the Shanghai Auto Show in April, it is the cheapest Toyota branded sedan available on the Chinese auto market, competing head to head with cars like the Volkswagen Jetta and the Citroen C-Elysee.
The Toyota Vios is made in China by the by the FAW-Toyota joint venture. The Vios will get power from a 1.3 with 99hp and 123nm or by a 1.5 with 107hp and 140nm. Both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. Size: 4410/1700/1490mm, wheelbase is 2550. The new Vios will soon get company of the new Toyota Yaris, which is the hatchback version of the Vios.
