Spy Shots of the facelifted Porsche 911 testing in China. The Chinese car market is the largest market worldwide for Porsche and one of the largest for the 911, so the Germans want to make absolutely sure the new car behaves well on Chinese roads. The facelift includes a new air vent over the engine compartment and redesigned rear lights. Most strikingly however are the new exhaust pipes and the new openings in the far sides of the lower part of the bumper.

The exhaust pipes are positioned in the center of the bumper in a separated heat-resistant area. The openings are likely designed to get hot air away from the rear-wheel brakes. Wide tires indicate this particular car could be a performance model, most probably a Carrera S with a sport pack. The facelifted 911 is expected to debut in China on the Guangzhou Auto Show in December.
