If you are looking for a first car then you can’t go wrong with some of the great cars which have been produced in Britain in the past 100 years or more.

One of the legendary names behind many great marks and models is Ford, responsible for iconic cars such as the Escort and Fiesta.

But they are just part of a 110-year story in Britain which spans the arrival of three imported Model As in 1903 to the conclusion of the company’s production in the UK, in 2013

Ford was present in the UK for some of the key moments in the country’s history; from the sinking of the Titanic to England’s World Cup victory in 1966, and the marriage of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer.
