A mix somehow between hatchback, notchback, and fastback. A bit like the BMW X6 but not completely. Some Infiniti influences as well. Altogether a fine looking car. The yet nameless vehicle is expected to debut as a concept on the April 2015 Shanghai Auto Show, with a launch on the Chinese car market in late 2015.

No news on engines yet but we bet this crossover will be powered by a turbocharged variant of the Mitsubishi-sourced 1.5 liter four-cylinder petrol engine that powers the C3 Urban Ark Activity Utility Vehicle (AUV).

Logo’s are still getting bigger in China. But grille need more chrome.

  1. It’s been awhile since we have heard anything from Zhongxing.
It was said that Zhongxing had received rights to the CP2 sedan model from GAC, in a recent exchange agreement. Is it by coincidence that, from the C pillar forward, this “crossover” looks a lot like the CP2 ?
