The SouEast DX7 SUV debuted on the 2014 Guangzhou Auto Show in China. The DX7 is the production version of the SouEast R7 concept that debuted on the 2014 Beijing Auto Show. The red DX7 on show wasn’t completely production-ready yet, with blackened windows (check interior) and closed doors, but it had a real platform underneath.
The SouEast DX7 will be launched on the Chinese car market in Q1 2015. Price will start around 120.000 yuan and end around 160.000 yuan. The DX7 will be powered by 1.8 liter and 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engines, good for about 180hp and 220hp, mated to a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. Size: 4537/1900/1700, wheelbase is 2700.
