Spy Shots showing the facelifted Chevrolet Malibu sedan for China. The facelifted Chevrolet Malibu will debut on next month’s Shanghai Auto Show and launch in the Chinese car market soon thereafter. The facelift includes a new grille, new bumpers, new headlights, and new rear lights. The Malibu is made in China by the Shanghai-GM joint venture.

The facelift also means that China will not get the all-new 2016 Chevrolet Malibu that will debut on next month’s New York Auto Show. It is however also possible that the 2016 Malibu will come to China at a later time, using a different name.

Three four-cylinder petrol engines:  154hp 2.0, 184hp 1.6 turbo, and a 186hp 2.4. All engines will continue in the facelifted Malibu and price will be about the same.

  1. It looks much better than previous version, especially in front view. I never liked Chevrolet’s odd grille used in last 5 years or so.

  2. the new front end looks like an Australian made GM Holden Commodore, which is apt since GM will close it’s factory in Australia in 2 years time.
