The best Spy Shots so far of the upcoming JAC Refine A6 sedan, featuring a large shiny grille and even more shiny in the bumper. The JAC Refine A6 debuted in concept form on the 2014 Beijing Auto Show, the production car will debut next month on the Shanghai Auto Show followed by a launch on the Chinese car market in H2.

At launch, the Refine A6 will be available with a rather hot 1.5 turbo with 174hp and 255nm, mated to a six-speed DCT. Later on an even hotter 2.0 turbo will join the line-up, with an output of 190hp and 280nm.

The Refine A6 is the largest car ever manufactured by JAC. Size:  4995/1890/1503, and wheelbase is 2915. It will be positioned above the recently facelifted JAC Heyue sedan. Price will start around 170.000 yuan and end around 240.000 yuan. It will compete with cars such as the Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi GA5, Chery Arrizo 7, the Geely Emgrand EC8, and the Changan Raeton.

  1. The grille bar spacing at its top looks odd. Reminds me of the first Geely CK-1 that always looked like a bar was missing….but was later fixed.
    Otherwise it looks like a Besturn B70.
