Spy Shots showing that Geely is working on a facelift for the Borui sedan, and that is remarkable because the Borui was only launched in April last year. The facelift includes a new more shiny grille, smaller headlights, a new bumper, and an updated interior.

The current car. Price starts at 119.800 yuan and ends at 229.800 yuan. Engines: 163hp 1.8 turbo, 162hp 2.4, and a 275hp 3.5 liter V6. All engines will continue but the 1.8 will get more power, up 17 horses to 180 and up 45nm to 285.

The interior gets nicer materials on doors, wheel, and dash. But most important is the brand new and much enlarged touch screen for the infotainment system which is indeed far too small on the current car. Compare:

The new one is at least twice as big and comes with a crystal clear touch screen, although the whole ensemble isn’t very nicely integrated in the dashboard. Geely seems to have been in a hurry to finish this job.

Big, but not pretty. The facelifted Geely Borui is expected for debut on the Beijing Auto Show in April.
