It has been a long time since we heard from Haima. But here they are again with a new mid-size MPV, looking a tad too much like a Buick GL8 and featuring a strikingly shiny grille. The MPV is code named VB00 and it will be launched on the Chinese car market sometime in the first quarter of the year.

The Haima S5 1.5T has been launched on the Chinese auto market. Price starts at 106.800 yuan and ends at 123.800 yuan. The 1.5 liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine has an output of 163hp and 223nm, and is mated to a CVT gearbox.

Price starts at 89.800 yuan and ends at 113.800 yuan. The new 1.5 turbo is significantly more powerful and will be priced in the 110.000-130.000 range.
