The Zotye A00 is a new mini car from China and an almost perfect copy of the Suzuki Alto. New spy shots reveal its real name: Zotye Z100. The Z100 will likely debut at the Beijing Auto Show where it will stand alongside the new Zotye Z300 which is an almost perfect copy of the Toyota Allion.

Spy Shots: Zotye A00 getting ready in China

New spy shots from the upcoming Zoyte minicar code named A00. The A00 has about the size of the Suzuki Alto and, one must say, the loox as well. Zotye did however change the front a bit. Except that, the A00 and Alto seem for 99% similar.

Spy Shot: new mini car from Zotye

Chinese automaker Zotye is on a roll. In late May it listed the Fiat-based Z200 and Z200HB, the new Z300 sedan will be listed in Q4 and on Zotye showed three more concept cars on the Shanghai Auto Show in April. There was however one more car expected at the Shanghai show but Zotye’s new mini car did not appear. Here t is again on one spy shot showing Zotye is still working on it. It will come very cheap and will compete with cars such as the Chang’an-Suzuki Alto. Debut is now expected later this year, likely at the Guangzhou Auto Show in December.

Small Chinese automaker Zotye is famous for recycling old Fiats and Daihatsu’s. Mind; Zotye doesn’t steal, Zotye actually pays for the right to copy. A rare thing in China indeed. But this new mini car really loox like something of their own. It’ll be at the Shanghai Auto Show as a concept and no matter how ready it seems, with Zotye it can still take years before it hits the market.
