The Volkswagen New Magotan Variant has been officially listed on the China car market. Price starts at 324.800 yuan and ends at 374.800 yuan. The New Magotan Variant is a rebadged Volkswagen Passat B7 Variant.

The Passat B7L sedan is made in China as ‘Magotan‘ by the FAW-VW joint venture. The Magotan Variant however is imported. Volkswagen also imported the Passat B6 Variant but car buyers got confused by the name. Volkswagen so choose to call the B7 variant Magotan as well. One engine only; the 2.0 TSI with 200hp and 280nm.
