New Volkswagen Sagitar will be listed in China in February
The new Volkswagen Sagitar will be listed on the China car market in February. The Sagitar is made in China by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture and is based on the American NCS-6 Jetta. The current Volkswagen Sagitar is based on the old Europan Jetta.
The current Sagitar will die, Volkswagen has no plans to continue production. There will be three engines in the new car: 1.4 TSI, 1.8 TSI and the good old naturally aspirated 1.6. Price will start around 133.000 yuan and end around 185.000 yuan, almost exactly the same as the outgoing Sagitar.
