BYD has launched the most advanced version of its G6 sedan, the BYD G6 TID. ‘TID’ stands for Turbocharged, direct Injection, Dual clutch. The engine is a 1.5 turbo with direct injection, good for 113kw and 240nm. The DCT is six-speed. BYD is very proud of the new package because it was independently developed and BYD therefore has the full intellectual property rights.

The BYD G6 TID has been listed on the Chinese car market yesterday, price is 115.800 yuan. The base BYD G6 with an old-school 2.0 (103 kw, 186nm) starts at 79.800 yuan. The TID comes with all the goodies standard, including an advanced infotainment system and leather seats.
