Chang’an Yuexiang V5 debuts at the Beijing Auto Show

Here we have the new Chang’an Yuexiang V5, based on the standard Chang’an Yuexiang. Chinese media say it loox too much like a Mazda 3, with that gaping hole in the bumper. That might be so but this is still an interesting try to make something exciting out of the rather boring Yuexiang. This can not have been a very easy job, but Chang’an sort of succeeded.

Power comes from a 1.5 with 114hp and 145nm, mated to a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic. Size: 4415/1710/1475, wheelbase is 2515. The Yuexiang V5 will hit the China car market in the second half of this year, it will be positioned slightly above the standard Yuexiang which will continue, price is expected to start around 65.000 yuan.
