FAW has been fooling us! The FAW R008 will be called Xiali N7 when it hits the market later this year. The change makes some sense, the Xiali N7 will be made by Tianjin-FAW which also makes the Xiali N3 and Xiali N5. But we kinda liked ‘R00’, is sounded cool and different. Xiali N7, does not.

Price will range from 50.000 to 80.000 yuan. Power will come from a 1.3 with 90hp (67kw) and 120nm, mated to a 5-speed manual. FAW is working on a 1.3 turbo that will be available in the R008 as well but it won’t be available within this year. Size: 3920/1645/1485, wheelbase is 2405.
