Volkswagen has launched the Magotan Alltrack (Passat) on the Chinese car market during the Chengdu Auto Show. Price starts at 361.800 yuan and ends at 412.100 yuan. Only available engine is the 2.0 TSI.  The Alltrack will be imported into China just like the Magotan Wagon where it is based on.

The Magotan sedan is made in China by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture. The Wagon and Alltrack tap into a growing market, more and more Chinese car buyers consider a ‘wagon’ as something different, like individual, like lifestyle. Volkswagen as usual is one of the first to see and to exploit a new segment in China.
