The very first pictures of  a pre-production China-made Volkswagen Golf 7, it will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show in April next year and will be launched on the Chinese auto market in the third quarter of next year. The Volkswagen Golf 7 will be made in the new Foshan factory from the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture.

The pictures were taken in a showroom-facility from the joint venture, of the sort where dealers are invited to see the new stuff. On the first pic there seems to be a Jetta standing to the far right of the Golf, with interesting blue decals. Earlier on we heard the good old Jetta would continue for at least another two years.

The China-made Golf will be available with three engines: 1.2 TFSI, 1.4 TFSI and 2.0 TFSI. Price will start around 110.000 yuan.
