The Honda Fit Hybrid has been launched on the Guangzhou Auto show, priced at 179.800 yuan. The car on show was fittingly painted in green, because those rare earth mines in rural China where the base materials for a hybrid motors are distracted with radioactive materials are green too.

However that might be! The Fit Hybrid is powered by a 1.4 liter petrol engine and a 14hp electric motor. Fuel consumption is 4.7 liters per 100 kilometer. The Honda Fit Hybrid is imported into China, unlike the normal Honda Fit which is made in China by the Guangzhou-Honda joint venture.
