Spy Shots: China-made Mitsubishi Pajero Sport hits the road
The very first spy shots of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport testing in China, it will be launched on the Chinese car market next year, made in China by the Guangzhou-Mitsubishi joint venture. The Pajero Sport is currently imported into China. The first generation Pajero Sport was made in China from 2003 until 2008 by the now diseased Beijing-Mitsubishi joint venture.
The current second-generation Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. Imported and thus expensive, price starts at 368.000 yuan and ends at 398.000 yuan. Lone engine is a 222hp 3.0 V6. Price of the China-made Pajero Sport will start just under 200.000 yuan, it will get the 3.0 and a 2.5 liter four-cylinder.
Manual gearbox in this tester, they better have an automatic in the production version!
