Spy Shots: new Nissan Teana pops up in China

The first clear shot of the new Nissan Teana, it will be launched on the Chinese auto market in March next year. Additionally, a China-only extended version of the Teana will be launched on October next year. The new Nissan Teana is basically the same car as the new US-spec Nissan Altima.

The current Nissan Teana, made in China by the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture. Price starts at 190.000 yuan and ends at 370.000 yuan. Engines: 2.0, 2.5 V6 and 3.5 V6. Chinese media say the 3.5 V6 will be deleted for the new Teana and that a 1.8 turbo will be added. That engine would then fit somewhere between the 2.0 and the 2.5. Earlier on we heard there would be a hybrid version as well, but that doesn’t seem certain yet.
