The very first spy shots of an all-naked Chery A4, formerly known as the Chery M16. The Chery A4 is a new mid-size sedan that will be launched on the Chinese car market in the first half of next year, debut is expected for the April 2013 Shanghai Auto Show.

Power will come from a 1.6 with 126hp and 160nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT. Chery is still working on a 1.4 turbo for the A4, but that engine won’t be available at launch. Size: 4650/1820/1480, wheelbase is 2700. Price of the Chery A4 will start around 110.000 yuan. The vehicle on the photos comes with a new Chery-logo, consisting of on oval and an ‘A’. Strangely, on the steering wheel:
