Spy Shots: facelift for the Chery A3 in China
The very first spy shots of the facelifted Chery A3 hatchback. It will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show in April and will be launched on the Chinese car market soon thereafter. The facelift includes new bumpers, new headlights, and a new grille.
The current Chery A3 hatchback. Price starts at 75.800 yuan and ends at 95.800 yuan. Engines: 126hp 1.6 mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT, and a 132hp 1.8 mated to a 4-speed automatic. The engines will continue in the facelifted A3 and price will be about the same.
Not too many changes at the back. Lights are the same. Bumper is new. Strangely, the chrome strip has been deleted, which is very anti-trend.
Note chrome strip above bumper. Chinese car buyers will look for it.
