Spy Shots: new Toyota Vios seen testing in China
The very first live-shots of the new Toyota Vios testing in China. The new Toyota Vios debuted internationally on the Bangkok Auto Show last week, it will debut in China on the Shanghai Auto Show later this month. The Toyota Vios is made in China by the FAW-Toyota joint venture.
The current Toyota Vios, price starts at 89.500 yuan and ends at 123.900 yuan, power comes from a 86hp 1.3 or a 118hp 1.6. The new Toyota Vios will keep the 1.3 but the 1.6 will be replaced by a new 1.5 with 110ho and 141hp, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. The 1.3 will only be available with a 5-speed manual. Price of the new Vios will be about the same as the price of the current car. Size of the new Vios: 4410/1700/1475, wheelbase is 2550.
