New spy shots showing the sleek new Changan BenBen hatchback. Debut is scheduled for the Guangzhou Auto Show in November and it will be launched on the China car market in late December. New reports in Chinese automotive media indicate the new BenBen is a new addition to the BenBen-range, to be positioned just above the existing BenBen Mini and BenBen Love.

Power will come from a new 1.4 with 100hp and 136nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. Size: 3730/1650/1530, wheelbase is 2410 and curb weight is 1020kg. Top speed is 156km/h and fuel consumption is 5.6 liter per 100km. Price will range from 40.000 to 60.000 yuan.
