Spy Shots: Audi Q3 will get a 1.8 Turbo in China

Spy shots showing the Audi Q3 testing with a new 1.8 turbocharged engine in China. The Audi ’30 TFSI’ will be launched on the China ca market in early 2014. The Audi Q3 is made in China by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture.

Price of the current range starts at 285.000 yuan and ends at 428.800 yuan. Lone engine is a 2.0 TFSI in two different tunes; the 170hp ’35 TFSI’ and the 200hp ’40 TFSI’. The 1.8 turbo has an output of 160hp and 250nm. Price will start around 220.000 yuan, bringing the Q3 within range of a much wider audience.
