Hyundai is working on a facelift for the Hyundai Verna sedan, and the hatchback will likely get the same treatment as well. The facelifted Hyundai Verna will debut on the Guangzhou Auto Show in November and will hit the China car market just before the end of the year. The facelift includes new bumpers, new lights, and a new and bigger grille with more chrome.

The current Hyundai Verna sedan arrived in late 2010. It is made in China by the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture. Price starts at 73.900 yuan and ends at 106.900 yuan. Engines: 1.4 with 107hp and a 1.6 with 123hp, both mated to a 5-speed manual or a rather old 4-speed automatic. Engines and transmissions will continue in the facelifted Hyundai Verna and price will be about the same.
