Spy Shots: facelift for the Geely Emgrand EC7 in China

Spy shots showing that Geely is working on an extensive facelift for the Geely Emgrand EC7, it is expected to be launched on the China car market in the first half of 2014. The facelift includes new bumpers, new lights, a new grille, and an updated interior.

The current Geely Emgrand EC7. Price starts at 71.800 yuan and ends at 113.800 yuan. Engines: 109hp 1.5 and a 139hp 1.8. The facelifted Emgrand EC7 will keep those engines and will also be available with a new high tech 1.3 liter turbo that is currently under development. The 1.3 turbo will have an output of 133hp and 186nm.

More LED at the back. The exhaust pipes just under the fog lights look kinda awkward there, as if they don’t have enough space. Strange design.
