Patent Applied: 2014 Toyota Highlander will be made in China

Toyota has applied for patent for the China car market on the 2014 Toyota Highlander SUV. Production in China will start sometime late next year, with a debut scheduled for the 2014 Guangzhou Auto Show. The China-made variant of the 2014 Toyota Highlander will be powered by 2.7 and 3.6 liter petrol engines.

The 2014 Toyota Highlander will be made in China by the Guangzhou-Toyota joint venture that also makes the current Highlander. Price starts at 248.800 yuan and ends at 429.800 yuan. Price range for the 2014 Highlander will be about the same.
