The Changan CS35 SUV will get turbo power. Changan Automotive is working on a new 1.5 turbo with a healthy 150hp and 210nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic.The engine is made by a company called Dongan Automotive Engine Manufacturing and based on the Mitsubishi 4G15T.

The Changan CS35 was launched on the China car market in October 2012. Price starts at 78.900 yuan and ends at 96.900 yuan. Lone engine is a 1.6 liter four-cylinder with 125hp and 160nm, mated to a 5-speed manual of 4-speed automatic.

The Changan CS35 1.5T will debut on the Chengdu Auto Show in September and launch in October. Price will start around 90.000 yuan and end around 110.000 yuan.
