Hyundai has released a teaser of the new Hyundai ix25 SUV, it will debut on the 2014 Beijing Auto Show and launch on the China car market in Q3. The scary kid is a certain Do Min Joon, a famous Korean soap opera star and very popular in China. Hhe will be the spokesman (man?) for the Hyundai ix25.

The Hyundai ix25 is manufactured in China by the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture to compete with cars like the Ford Ecosport and the upcoming Volkswagen Taigun. The ix25 is based on the platform of the Kia Soul, which is made in China by the Dongfeng-Yueda-Kia joint venture.

The Hyundai ix25 be powered by a 1.6 and a new 1.4, both mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. Price will start around 125.000 yuan and end around 160.000 yuan.
