The Mercedes-Benz S600 Maybach will have its worldwide debut on the Guangzhou Auto Show in China, scheduled to start in mid December. The S600 Maybach is a stretched out and dressed up luxurious variant of the ‘base’ Mercedes-Benz S600 S-Class.

Mercedes expects China to become the largest market for the Maybach series and that is why it will debut in Guangzhou, and not in New York or Geneva. The S600 Maybach will be powered by a powerful variant of the twin-turbocharged 6.0 V12. In standard form the engine delivers 530hp and 830nm, the Mayback will likely go to 550 horses at least. Price in China will start around 3 million yuan or 480.000 USD.
