The R1 looks cool, but a bit too much like a Smart. The inside is hip as well, and I especially like the dashboard, it seems to be analog, but the dials are digital.

Power is 54 hp and 125 Nm. Battery is 33 kWh and range is 351 kilometers NEDC. Top speed is 102 km/h. Charging takes 45 minutes on a fast charger for 80% battery, or 10.5 hour for a full charge on 220V. Size: 3495/1660/1560, and wheelbase is 2475.

Price after-subsidies starts at 71.800 yuan or $10.402.

Smart paint job.

Lights look great. Note tiny ORA logo on charging-door.

A bit too boring from behind.

Very basic but not uncool. Check this:

Love it!

RND buttons seem very small.

The infotainment touch screen, freestanding atop a textured dash. Three vents for extra air.

Seats could use more color.

Only two seats in the back.

Enough space for a larger electric motor.

The ORA R1. Nice, but somewhat flawed.
