The Boyue Cool specifically targets the young consumer group with its name stands for Creative, Opening, Outdare, and Love, according to the carmaker. The car adopts Geely’s “Starburst Vision” design language, giving it an angular shape and sharp lines. From the top view, it also has a panoramic sunroof.
The front face is equipped with a large grille decorated with a sharp matrix black grid. Furthermore, the penetrating LED daytime running lights can be lit up together with the brand logo.
As a compact SUV, the size of the Boyue Cool is 4510/1865/1650mm, with a 2701mm wheelbase. The car runs on five-spoke wheels. Other notable design elements include a suspended roof and its upper waistline extends upwards all the way to the D-pillar.
Based on previous declaration information from Chinese MIIT, power comes from a 1.5TD four-cylinder engine jointly developed by Volvo and Geely with a maximum power of 133 kW, mated to a 7-speed DCT.
The rear adopts a four-outlet exhaust layout, a through-type taillight group matched with Y-shape lights on both sides, and a high-mounted brake light.
Lastly, Geely has not released the interior details. Geely claims that Boyue Cool will introduce the concept of a “digital interactive cockpit” equipped with a full LCD instrument panel, a large central control screen, and a multi-functional antibacterial steering wheel. We’ll watch closely for more information.
