Recently, Chery announced that its upcoming X70 Pro SUV under its Jetour brand will launch on July 28. The new car is another facelift of the X70 series, similar to the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, with minor modifications to the exterior and interior. For reference, the price range of the current Jetour X70 Plus is 89,900 – 161,900 yuan (12,500 – 22,500 USD). As a new member of the Jetour X70 series, the X70 Pro is mainly targeting young consumers.

Jetour X70 is a series of mid-size crossover SUVs with the following variants: Jetour X70S, Jetour X70S EV, Jetour X70 Coupe, Jetour X70M, and Jetour X70 Plus.

One of the design highlights is the large matrix pattern grille in the front. The red embellishment, high-mounted brake lights, and the four-exhaust outlets further enhance the sportiness of the vehicle. At the same time, the headlights remain unchanged.

As a mid-size SUV, Jetour X70 Pro measures 4749/1900/1720mm with a 2745mm wheelbase. From the side, the side skirt is decorated with red trim.

Inside, the red interior is eye-catching and is equipped with a 10.25-inch dual-screen and a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel. Other configurations include voice recognition control, keyless start, and OTA update.

Jetour X70 Pro offers a 5- or 7-seater layout. The second-row seats can be adjusted by 25 – 41 degrees.

The powertrain will be equipped with either a 108 kW 1.5 T or 140 kW 1.6T engine, mated to a 6-speed DCT and 7-speed DCT, respectively.
