Aito M9 received more than 60,000 firm orders 86 days after launch

On March 22, Aito announced that its high-end flagship M9 SUV received more than 60,000 firm orders 86 days after its launch in December last year. Earlier on February 29, the firm order quantity just reached the 50,000 unit mark.

The Aito M9 has a starting price of 469,800 yuan (65,000 USD), available in BEV and EREV versions, and in five exterior colors (including two solid colors and three dual-colors). The first batch delivery started on February 5th this year. Just two days ago, all Aito models received the latest OTA updates, including navigation cruise assist (NCA), lane centering control (LCC), autonomous valet parking (AVP), and over 15 other optimizations.

The vehicle measures 5230/1999/1800 mm, and the wheelbase is 3110 mm.

Additionally, under fast charging, the EREV model takes 30 minutes to replenish from 20% to 80%, while the EV model takes 15 minutes to replenish from 30% to 80%.

The cockpit adopts a triple screen design, including a 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel, a 15.6-inch central control screen, and a 16-inch co-pilot entertainment screen, powered by the HarmonyOS 4.0.

Furthermore, the car is equipped with HUAWEI ADS® 2.0, which is realized via a lidar, three millimeter-wave radars, four anti-collision millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 11 high-definition cameras.

Aito is a joint venture between Huawei and Seres. Seres is responsible for the manufacturing and Huawei provides the full-stack intelligent vehicle solutions. In 2024, Aito has a sales target of 600,000 vehicles. In 2025, Aito also plans to release and mass-produce its M8 model.
