This is the Baojun Yunhai, the brand’s newest five-seater SUV, available in EV and PHEV powertrains. The official launch will be in the third quarter of 2024.
According to Baojun’s 2024 product plan, the brand plans to launch two new SUVs in Q3 and Q4, codenamed F410S and F710S. Specifically, the F410S is positioned as a global vehicle, just like the Baojun Cloud (known as the Wuling Cloud in Indonesia). Based on this information, the Baojun Yunhai is also expected to be exported to the overseas market.
According to the declaration information from Chinese MIIT from May 11th, the Baojun Yunhai has a size of 4541/1880/1608 mm, and the wheelbase is 2750 mm, positioned as a compact SUV. The Baojun Yunhai will be built based on Baojun’s Tianyu D platform architecture.
The EV version has a larger closed area and a black trim panel is added below the headlight for decoration, resembling the number ‘7’. The PHEV version uses triangular headlights and black decorative panels for embellishment to create a visual air vent effect. From the side, the car adopts the traditional door handles.
The rear design of both versions is the same. The EV version will be equipped with a 150 kW electric motor model TZ210XS2F0 and a lithium iron phosphate battery pack from Jiangsu Zenergy Battery Technology. The PHEV version will be powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a maximum power of 78 kW, an electric motor, and a lithium iron phosphate battery pack. Both versions will have a 170 km/h top speed. Other additional powertrain specifications have not been revealed at this time.
Additionally, both versions each have three different rims styles to choose from, and both have two tire specifications: 215/60R17 and 225/55R18. Lidars and cameras will also be present, implying advanced driving assistance capabilities.
