The new Neta X (see specs) has officially launched. It offers four different configurations at prices ranging from 89,800 to 124,800 yuan (12,500 to 17,400 USD). The new models feature two range options: 401 km and 501 km, CLTC.

The Neta X 500 Plus has received significant upgrades compared to the older Neta X 500 Lite. The enhancements cover design, seat comfort, cabin features, and safety measures. It now includes Neta’s self-developed Haozhi heat pump system, which reduces energy consumption and optimizes heating and cooling. Additionally, the vehicle features a constant-temperature battery management system to improve winter range and low-temperature charging efficiency.

The Neta X 500 Pro has extra features like an electric tailgate, driver’s seat memory function, and wireless phone charging. Safety and technology improvements include added side curtain airbags, a driver monitoring system (DMS), and a dashcam. It also incorporates NETA AD, achieving L2+ level intelligent driving assistance.

While the exterior design remains unchanged, the new Neta X features a closed front grille with split headlights, a three-section lower air intake, and sharp lines on the hood, giving it a sporty appearance. The vehicle measures 4619 mm in length, 1860 mm in width, and 1628 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2770 mm. The side profile showcases straight segmented waistlines and a large window area, especially in the side windows behind the C-pillar, giving the car a fuller look. The five-spoke alloy wheels add to its modern appeal. The rear design creates a layered look with horizontal lines and a through-type tail light, enhancing the visual width. The chrome trim on the rear bumper adds a touch of sophistication.

The Neta X features an 8.9-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch square central control screen (in the Plus and Pro models) powered by the 8155P chip. It also has a wireless charging pad beneath the center console. The interior has an 80% soft-touch surface coverage and minimal physical buttons, adopting a column shifter design. The new Neta X is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor and delivers a maximum power of 120 kW. The single-speed transmission enables a top speed of 150 km/h, and range options are 401 km and 501 km, CLTC.

The new Neta X competes with models like the BYD Yuan Plus. Its innovative interior design aims to offer consumers a superior driving experience.
