On December 6, Geely Galaxy officially launched its Starship 7 plug-in hybrid SUV, available in five trims, with a limited-time price range of 99,800 – 132,800 yuan (13,700 – 18,300 USD):

- 55km Exploration Edition: 109,800 yuan (15,100 USD)
- 120km Sailing+ Edition: 112,800 yuan (15,500 USD)

- 120km Pilot Edition: 132,800 yuan (18,300 USD)
The Geely Galaxy Starship 7’s new energy vehicle attribute is clear at a glance with its closed front face design. The LED light strip runs across, paired with split headlights. The rear is round and full and uses through-type taillights. Its official drag coefficient is 0.288Cd.
Built based on Geely’s GEA global AI new energy architecture, the dimensions of the Starship 7 are 4740/1905/1685 mm in length, width, and height, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2755 mm. Two curb weight options are offered: 1610 kg and 1724 kg. Geely claimed that the GEA “supports full electrification with options such as pure electric, hybrid, range extender, and green methanol”.
Consumers can choose from six exterior paints, namely, green, silver, black, blue, gray, and white.
Additionally, level 2 advanced driving assistance capabilities are supported, including emergency lane keep assist, intelligent cruise control, and traffic jam assist.
The dual-color cockpit layout is simple, covered in soft material, and the leather is stitched. The cockpit is powered by the Flyme Auto smart cockpit system, featuring a flat-bottom steering wheel, a 13.8-inch W-HUD, a 10.2-inch full LCD instrument panel, and a 14.6-inch central control screen.
The marshmallow SPA seats support 14-point massaging for the waist, back, hips, and legs as well as heating and ventilation. There is also an intelligent ventilation and heating mode, which automatically detects whether the seat is occupied and automatically adjusts the ventilation or heating gear. Other configurations include 50 W wireless charging, a 16-speaker Flyme Sound (including headrest speakers) system, sentry mode, APP remote control, keyless entry, and V2L & V2V discharge functions.
There are 34 storage compartments throughout the interior. The trunk has a standard volume of 528 L (428 L + 100 L hidden space) and can be expanded to 2065 L after the rear seats are folded down. At the same time, the Geely Galaxy Starship has a light-transmitting area of 3.3㎡.
The Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i is equipped with Geely’s latest NordThor EM-i super hybrid system, which consists of a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor, mated to an E-DHT. The system also integrates a silicon carbide electric drive and an AI intelligent energy management system, which can predict the use of the car based on road conditions, driving area, altitude, and slope recognition, and help users make the most suitable car use decisions (gasoline or electricity) by learning driving habits.

Two lithium iron phosphate battery pack options are offered: 8.05 kWh and 19.09 kWh, providing a corresponding CLTC pure electric range of 55 km and 120 km, respectively. Under a full fuel tank and full charge, the official comprehensive range can reach up to 1,420 km. Furthermore, the CLTC fuel consumption is 3.75L/100km, the 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time is 7.5 seconds, the top speed is 180 km/h, and the fast charging time to replenish the battery from 30% to 80% is 20 minutes.
