This is the made-in-China Volvo EX30 Cross Country variant, recently declared by the Chinese MIIT. At this time, the official has not announced the launch plan for the domestic Chinese market. For reference, the Volvo EX30 Cross Country for the overseas market will be released this summer and the price tag is expected to be similar to that of the Volvo EX30, starting at around 200,000 yuan (13,800 USD).

For the exterior, compared with the overseas variant, the domestic variant remains largely unchanged. Specifically, the front is decorated with a black panel, forming a contrasting color layout, paired with the family-styled T-shaped headlight group as well as the trapezoidal lower grille. The front bumper is also supplemented with a silver trim. From the side, the blackened roof formed a floating effect with the contrasting colored body, and the conventional door handles are retained.

In the rear, a black panel is used to echo the front face, surrounded by C-shaped taillights, making it highly recognizable. At the same time, the “Cross Country” logo is located on the rear lower left while the “Asia Pacific” logo is on the rear lower right, indicating the locality. A panoramic sunroof is also standard across the entire series.

Furthermore, the new car measures 4233/1850/1573 mm, and the wheelbase is 2650 mm. Compared with the EX30 currently on sale, it is 12 mm wider and 18 mm taller. Positioned as an electric AWD, power comes from the front and rear electric motors with a maximum power of 115 kW (154 hp) and 200 kW (268 hp), respectively; matched with ternary lithium battery packs.

At this time, the interior and more detailed powertrain specs have not been revealed. We’ll watch closely for more info.
