Mazda has officially debuted the all-new EZ-60 electric SUV at the 2025 Shanghai International Auto Show. The production version remains closely aligned with the ARATA concept while incorporating modern technologies and offering two distinct powertrain options.

With dimensions of 4,850 mm in length, 1,935 mm in width, and 1,620 mm in height, along with a 2,902 mm wheelbase, the EZ-60 features a sleek and aerodynamic profile. The design is accentuated by a black floating roof and dual-tone body finishes, delivering a refined and modern appearance.

Inside, the EZ-60 features a digital-first cabin, led by a sweeping 26.45-inch 5K ultra-wide display that integrates vehicle information, entertainment, and climate control functions. The minimalist interior eliminates nearly all physical buttons in favour of touch and voice control, while rear passengers enjoy their touchscreens for comfort and media adjustments. Mazda claims the optional 23-speaker 7.1.4-channel Dolby Atmos audio system, designed for audiophiles, delivers immersive, cinema-quality sound.

Despite its coupe-like form, the EZ-60 offers 350 litres of cargo space, which can be expanded to 2,036 litres with the rear seats folded flat. The fully electric version also features a 126-litre front trunk, and thoughtful storage features are strategically placed throughout the cabin to support daily practicality.

Built on Changan’s EPA platform, also used by the Deepal S07, the EZ-60 comes in two electrified configurations. The range-extended model pairs a 72 kW, 1.5-litre engine—used solely as a generator—with a 190 kW electric motor and a 31.73 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery, offering 160 km of pure electric range. Full specs for the BEV version are still under wraps, but early data points to a competitive driving range.

Mazda has equipped the EZ-60 with nine standard airbags and an L2-level driver assistance system supported by five HD cameras, five millimetre-wave radars, and twelve ultrasonic sensors for 360-degree coverage. The battery protection system, developed with CATL and CALB, includes eight layers of safety measures and is designed to exceed upcoming 2026 regulatory standards.

After its domestic release, Changan Mazda aims to bring the EZ-60 to global markets under CX-6e, banking on Mazda’s stronger international presence.
