FAW Audi has officially launched the pre-sale of its new Q6L e-tron at the 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show. This luxury intelligent electric flagship SUV marks a significant collaboration between Audi and Huawei, integrating technology and a design tailored for the Chinese market.

The Q6L e-tron is built on the PPE pure electric platform and is touted as the first vehicle to combine a luxury brand with Huawei’s intelligent technology. It aims to set a new benchmark in the luxury electric vehicle segment with its “five kingly strengths”: technology, safety, handling, comfort, and design.

Key Features and Highlights:

  • Technology: The Q6L e-tron features Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving technology, specifically customised for the vehicle and seamlessly integrated with the PPE platform. This system incorporates dual LiDAR and visual fusion for enhanced autonomous driving capabilities, developed with a focus on Chinese driving habits and higher safety standards.
  • Range and Charging: Utilising an 800V architecture platform, the vehicle boasts a maximum charging power of 270kW (362 hp) and an impressive CLTC range of 765 kilometres (475 miles), making it a leader in its class.
  • Safety: The Q6L e-tron incorporates a racing-grade cage safety body and a redundant thermal management system for its battery. The 1000V insulation system and rigorous testing, including chassis impact, water immersion, fire, and durability tests, ensure maximum battery safety.
  • Driving Dynamics: The Q6L e-tron inherits Audi’s German handling genes, featuring e-quattro technology for the driving experience.
  • Comfort: Designed for optimal comfort, the vehicle’s electric tuning ensures a smooth ride, aiming to be “tiring to drive and not dizzying to sit in.”
  • Design: Penned by the designer of the Audi R8, the Q6L e-tron showcases a powerful and sporty exterior with a long wheelbase and short front and rear overhangs. It features a closed dot-matrix grille, customizable LED daytime running lights, and a glowing four-ring emblem. The interior boasts a curved screen setup, including an 11.9-inch driver display, a 14.5-inch central control screen, a 10.9-inch passenger screen, and an 88-inch AR-HUD.
  • Dimensions: The Q6L e-tron measures 4884mm in length, 1965mm in width, and 1694mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2995mm (117.9 inches).

During the pre-sale period, customers who order the FAW Audi Q6L e-tron family can enjoy various benefits, including a luxury equipment gift worth up to 60,000 yuan (8,300 USD) and three valuable usage benefits.
