Li Auto’s upcoming Li i6 electric SUV has three cruising ranges of 660 km (AWD), 710 km (RWD), and 720 km (RWD), all equipped with 5C 87.3075 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery packs, according to a recent Chinese MIIT filing. The official launch is scheduled for September with a starting price of around 200,000 yuan (27,900 USD), positioned as the brand’s most affordable model.
The Li i6 is the second model under the brand’s new i series after the Li i8.

The Li i6 is built on an 800V high-voltage architecture. The RWD is powered by a 250 kW (335 hp) electric motor and has two curb weight options of 2,395 kg and 2,380 kg. The AWD comes with an additional 150 kW (201 hp) electric motor, has a curb weight of 2,515 kg, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds. Additionally, it takes 10 minutes to charge 500 km of range under fast charging.
As a five-seater medium-to-large SUV, the Li i6 has a body size of 4950/1935/1655 mm in length, width and height, respectively; and a wheelbase of 3000 mm. The Li i6 also runs on 20-inch and 21-inch rims.

For the exterior, the Li i6 continues the brand’s i series design style, resembling that of the Li i8, featuring a dual-color body and an integrated light strip on the closed front face. The roof lidar is expected to be Hesai’s ATL lidar to support advanced driving assistance capabilities.

On May 22, Li Auto lowered its 2025 sales target from 700,000 units set at the beginning of the year to 640,000 units. In the first half of 2025, Li Auto delivered 203,938 units, up 7.9% year-on-year, accounting for 31.9% of the new target.
In terms of individual model sales, only the Li L6 achieved monthly sales of more than 10,000 units, with cumulative sales of 96,354 units in the first half of the year. The worst-selling model was the Li Mega, with cumulative sales of just 5,805 units in the first half of the year.
