Arcfox T1 official images released: A0-Class hatchback to compete with Geely Xingyuan and BYD Seagull
BAIC Arcfox today released official images of its new A0-class hatchback, the Arcfox T1. Positioned to invigorate the 70,000 yuan (10,000 USD) pure electric small car market, the T1 boasts a fresh exterior design based on the brand’s “Arc-Flow” concept and is expected to feature a single electric motor with a maximum output of 70 kW (94 hp). Pre-sales for the new vehicle are slated to begin in late August.
Compared to its initial debut at the Shanghai Auto Show, the Arcfox T1, as seen in the newly released official images, emphasises a more pronounced sporty aesthetic.
The side profile of the T1 showcases uncommon 18-inch multi-spoke aluminium alloy wheels for its class, complementing the clean and flowing side lines. This combination creates a strong visual impact while elevating the sense of refinement and sportiness. The official images also reveal a two-tone body design, with the roof and A/B pillars finished in black, paired with a sporty rear spoiler, further accentuating its athletic character.

In terms of dimensions, the Arcfox T1 measures 4337/1860/1572 mm in l/w/h, with a wheelbase of 2770 mm.

Under the hood, the Arcfox T1 is powered by a single electric motor with a maximum output of 70 kW (94 hp). The battery pack is a lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) unit supplied by CALB (China Aviation Lithium Battery Technology Group Co., Ltd.). According to previous declarations by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the new car will offer two battery capacities: 41.7 kWh and 42.3 kWh, providing pure electric cruising ranges of 410 and 425 kilometres, respectively.

The Arcfox T1 enters a competitive segment, facing established rivals such as the Geely Xingyuan and BYD Seagull (both starting at 9,900 USD). These competitors demonstrated strong sales performance in June with 40,891 and 30,708 units sold, respectively.
