XPeng has announced that its redesigned P7 electric sports sedan will make its official debut on August 6, 2025. According to Chinese media Yiche, this model features a cyberpunk-inspired design language.

Designed by French designer Rafik Ferrag, the new P7 maintains some recognisable family design elements. The front fascia incorporates XPeng’s latest lighting signature with a continuous LED light strip.

The vehicle’s dimensions confirm its position as a sports sedan, measuring 5017 mm/1970 mm/1427 mm in l/w/h, with a wheelbase of 3008 mm. The vehicle features hidden door handles and frameless windows, and is also equipped with an active rear spoiler that automatically adjusts based on driving conditions.

The new P7 will make its debut on August 6, 2025.

The new P7 will be equipped with XPeng’s Turing AI chip, powering a vision-based driver assistance system that supports NGP (Navigation Guided Pilot) functionality for both highway and urban environments.

The electric powertrain will be available in single and dual-motor configurations, with the single-motor version delivering 270 kW (367 hp) of maximum power. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant combines a 167 kW (224 hp) front motor with a 270kW (367 hp) rear motor.

Ministry of Industry and Information Technology filings reveal the new P7 will offer battery options of 74.9 kWh and 92.2 kWh, delivering CLTC ranges of 625km and 820km, respectively.

Optional features include scissor doors, active aerodynamic elements, and three different wheel styles with orange brake callipers. According to Chinese media Mydrivers, the pricing of the new P7 is expected to start around 200,000 yuan (28,000 USD), slightly above the current P7’s starting price of 186,800 yuan (26,000 USD).
